Truth in advertising is a foreign view for some of today’s businesses. They will say anything; do anything to win their product sold. Some simply stretch the truth, while others blatantly lie. They are clever at what they do. Using the psychology of pricing, they establish a cost just high enough to “trick” the consumer into believing that it surely must work, if it costs that much. They package the product well and employ some pretty good advertising gimmicks like “money back guarantee.”

As seen on TV products tend to be the worst of the lot, which is too bad because, the truth is some these products actually work well. The trick is weeding out the poor ones to get to the good ones.
