Recently, I haven’t gotten much sleep, and the plot under my eyes started feeling heavy and looked tired. I’ve always heard about people putting cucumber slices on their eyes for soothing purposes, but I have never actually tried that myself. Then I found the Peek Love Cucumbers Soothing Eye Gel by Yes to Cucumbers, and I immediately snatched one up. I am a big fan of the Yes to Cucumbers/Yes to Tomatoes/Yes to Carrots beauty-care line, so I had no doubt that this product would be just as fulfilling and effective. I was right.
Once applied, this product gives you a cool and refreshed sensation on your skin, which I would imagine putting cucumber slices on your eyes would feel like. The formula absorbs quickly and leaves no sticky or messy residue. My eyes feel refreshed and any imperfections under my eyes appear to lighten up after applying this. Also, any visible puffiness appears to decrease. Since it comes on clear, you can wear this under makeup or alone with no problem. Read the rest of this entry

I purchased Tiring, Sea Premier Luxury Collection Milk Cleanser along with all of my other Dead Sea and SeaCret products. I wanted to give it a try and see if it could benefit the skin on my face. It comes in an elegant-looking container with a pump mechanism that is easy to operate. I was surprised at the amount of natural ingredients this cleanser has, and I really like that this cleanser contains jojoba oil, which is a wonderful moisturizer, and that it is a major component of the formula instead of near the bottom of the ingredient list. It also contains chamomile extract and musk rose oil.
Now, Dead Sea Premier Luxury Collection Milk Cleanser is marketed as a facial cleanser. It’s supposed to balance and moisturize your skin and it’s especially made for normal or combination skin types, who have some oily areas and some dry areas of their faces. To use it, you are supposed to massage it onto your face and neck with your fingertips, and then consume it with toner. I regret to say the feeling of this cleanser on my face was not terribly pleasant. It felt overly greasy, as if I was applying sunscreen to my face. It also had something of a characteristic “sunscreen” smell to it as well. My skin did feel nice afterward, but I actually have found a better use for this cleanser. After my showers, I use it to moisturize my legs. I grabbed it by accident once thinking it was my moisturizer. After I had applied it to my legs I realized it wasn’t my moisturizer, but there was no blueprint you could tell by feeling how smooth my legs had become! I have continued to expend Dead Sea Premier Luxury Collection Milk Cleanser as a body lotion. It works splendidly as long as I apply it while my legs are still damp. Read the rest of this entry

With people’s wallets thinning and our planet producing less and less of the natural wonders we used for food and beauty care since the dawn of history, it’s difficult to keep a skin care regimen that’s cost effective, easy to use every day, and safe for our planet, using products that can be found in your home and are discarded without bruising the earth! I’ve compiled a simple to follow 10 step guide to give you healthier skin in less than a month.
Water! When you get out of the bath or shower, the first thing most people do is take a towel and dry every topple of water from their bodies, and then place their clothes or robe on. Well, as nature intended, the single best thing for our skin is water. Leave your skin damp when you exit the shower or bath, and let it sink into your pores. You can always help this process along with step 2… Read the rest of this entry
